Opportunity to take part in a performance project with Fertile Ground

This September, Fertile Ground will be hosting a dance festival at Dance City in Newcastle during which we aim to bring dancers and audiences from many horizons to share 2 days of activities including performances, dance workshops, panel discussions and a chance to showcase your work on Dance City's main stage via our performance platform.

You can participate in our project with:

- an intergenerational group work developed in collaboration with our dancers or alumni for this event.

- a group work with dancers you already know,  made and reworked with support from our team or developed in collaboration with our dancers or alumni for this event.

- a solo, made and reworked with support from our team or developed in collaboration with our dancers for this event.

- a film work, made and reworked with support from our team or developed in collaboration with our dancers for this event.

The format is flexible and while we encourage you to embrace collaboration with other dance enthusiasts in the region, you are also welcome to come with an existing group or as a solo dancer.

The schedule of rehearsal is also flexible and will be discussed with you in advance.
